Puentes (Bridges)
Puentes (Bridges) is a project focused on both the healing and psychosocial well-being of immigrants—or guests— as well as providers serving immigrants in New Mexico. The goal of Puentes is to support the creation of a supportive, Trauma-Responsive (TR) ecosystem in New Mexico that builds on local assets and expands the infrastructure for TR services. IWES helps build bridges to healing by increasing organizational capacity of TR care, as well as creating media pieces to amplify and humanize the untold stories of community members in New Mexico and El Paso, TX. PPI is funded by the W. K. Kellogg Foundation.
